The 2027 Application
About the Scholarship
The Jim Iacono Memorial Scholarship Fund was set up by Jim’s family to honor his memory by assisting a graduating Lynnfield High School student athlete who exemplifies the same outstanding leadership, kindness, integrity, character and athletic qualities as Jim so his light may shine forever. This one-time $3000 award will go to a LHS graduate who has earned a varsity letter in one or more teams and who demonstrates leadership and integrity and maintains at least a 3.0 GPA.
The Small Print
All information provided to the committee will be strictly confidential.
All applications, must be accompanied by the following:
- (1) letter of recommendation from a teacher
- (1) letter of recommendation from a coach
- A Copy of your high school transcript
- A 250-words or less essay about who has been a role model/inspiration to you in your life and why.
- Proof of athletic achievement
Application and all attachments must be returned by Thursday, April 8th, 2027 through one of the following methods:
